ABOUT ME

     Dr. Vinod Suresh is a board-certified psychiatrist. He provides patient-centered, humanistic care, and is able to treat a variety of psychiatric conditions with evidence-based knowledge and methods. Dr. Suresh has experience in working with healthcare and financial industry professionals, students (college, graduate, law and medical), LGBT clients, and survivors of sexual abuse and military combat trauma.

     Dr. Suresh received his training as a resident at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center (now part of Mt. Sinai Hospital), in New York City. There, Dr. Suresh attained specialized knowledge in addiction psychiatry, personality disorders, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. He went on to provide psychiatric care in an office, hospital, and at elder care facilities in Bergen County. Dr. Suresh also treated the nation's veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

     A native Floridian, with a medical degree from Florida State University, Dr. Suresh enjoys beaches, music, and trying new cuisines. He is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and multiple other states.
